Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the marketing and creative teams, such as designers and copywriters, to ensure that the video aligns with the company’s overall branding and messaging.

Creative Input: Provide creative input and suggestions for the direction of the video based on their knowledge of the medium and the target audience.

Project Management: Manage timelines and deadlines and work with other team members to ensure the project is completed on time.

Software Proficiency: Should be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and be able to learn new software as needed.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in film studies, cinematography or other related fields.
  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.
